A Question ...

What are your thoughts about people who, when invited to a networking meeting or event (or for that matter any event), say "Yes, yes, I will attend" and then do not turn up? They usually do not bother to let you know that they will not attend either.

Personally, I have more respect for someone who says "No, I will not be attending because {insert reason here}". That way I will not waste any more time (theirs or mine) and will look for someone else who may be interested.
